HOW WE CLEAN WHEELIE BINS
Our Cleaning Process is the identical for all sizes of refuse bin containers from the residential wheelie bins to the larger 1,100 and steel 1,280 litre commercial bins used by trade and industry. Both commercial and residential bins are hydraulic lifted into the wash position on board our vehicles.
Once in place, our High-pressure Jets blast the dirt and grime from inside the bin; any remaining marks are removed by our operative with a hand lance. The bin is lifted again to drain any excess water back into the water recycle system and the bin is finally Coated with a Disinfectant and a Bouquet Scented Deodoriser. Any water used in this process is collected and Recycled through our staged filters.
Our bin cleaning system operates above the minimum standards that are required by the Environment Agency for England and Wales and S.E.P.A (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency) for Scotland. It is this system and our company’s continued concern for environmental issues that led to the company being awarded Five-Star membership of the Green Organisation, the highest available.
