Our climate is not favourable for most of the different hard surfaces that we use like; tarmac, concrete block paving, clay block paving, natural stone paving, concrete flags, patio slabs, sandstone paving, Indian sandstone paving, paving slabs and Imprinted Concrete.
Keeping any form of hard surface free from weeds, moss, algae, lichens, stains and protected from oil stains is a challenge for any homeowner. Most people become frustrated and find themselves fighting a losing battle, especially with block paving which is particularly difficult to keep clean. A clean Driveway will always offer kerb appeal to any home!
Our Pressure Washing Procedure
We offer the following procedure to clean your tarmac, concrete block paving, clay block paving, decking, natural stone paving, concrete flags, patio slabs, sandstone paving, Indian sandstone paving, paving slabs and Imprinted Concrete.
Depending on the state of your hard surfaces to be cleaned we will recommend one or more of the following in order to transform and protect your hard surfaces.
Hard Surface Cleaning
Cheshire Bin Cleaners offer a professional residential and commercial driveway cleaning, patio cleaning, tarmac cleaning, deck cleaning service using the latest pressure washing technology. We use the latest Whirl-a-Way Rotary flat surface cleaner for cleaning Block paving and hard paved surfaces.
Weed-killer and Fungicidal Prevention
In order to prevent weeds we can apply a quality weed-killer and a fungicidal wash to kill off residual spores’ of moss and lichen. We will be happy to quote for applying either Weed-killer or Fungicidal or for application of both depending on your requirements.
Re-sanding of Block Paving
Whenever concrete block paving or clay block paving is cleaned you will always lose most of the jointing sand between the block pavers. This will need to be replaced in order to stabilise the block paving. We will always quote to replace the jointing sand with special ‘Dry Kiln Sand’ that is inert.
Concrete Pointing
Paving stones, paving flags natural stone paving, concrete flags, patio slabs, sandstone paving, Indian sandstone paving, paving slabs that have been previously pointed with concrete are likely to be further loosened when pressure washed. Old point will deteriorate over time due to the weather and will need replacing. We will be happy to quote you for replacing it.
Application of Protective Sealant
At Cheshire Bin Cleaners we recommend that our customers consider having a protective sealant applied to their newly cleaned hard surfaces or newly installed hard surfaces. Applying a quality Sealant will prevent weeds and grass growing between your paved surfaces and will stop the jointing sand being removed by future pressure washing. A quality urethane based sealant will provide the above mentioned benefits as well enhancing the colour and the depth of your pavers. Beware of cheaper quality Acrylic based sealants as they will not last as long as a quality urethane based sealant. See our section on ‘Block Pavers for further information.
Imprinted Concrete
We can restore old and damaged Imprinted Concrete Driveways and patios. Our imprinted concrete sealers is manufactured to BS5750/ISO 9000 quality. The sealant is suitable for all forms of printed, stamped and imprinted concrete surfaces.
We are able to repair damaged and cracked Imprinted Concrete surfaces and we are able to put the colour back into your driveway. We use anti-slip additives to help prevent you from slipping on a wet surface. We can clean, seal and restore the original colour of your imprinted concrete surfaces.
